Textbook studio talk by Vicky Carr

On the 27th of January, Vicky Carr came to have a talk with us. She is a graphic designer and also an educator who owns a 1/2 textbook studio based in Salford. During this talk, she shared her experience with us. Most of the work in her textbook can be divided into 4 parts-- studio projects( mostly make with friends, get creative work), commercial work( work for clients), education( holding lectures, talk, workshop with universities), and Risograph Collective. Risograph is photocopier print in different colours, use for producing posters, zines, publications... Her talking giving me the idea of collaborating with others, reproducing my work can benefit collaborators and myself, which could be a good option in the future. This talk showed me how working with others will work in future, quite an useful advice for everyone.
